Contract of hire
The contract of hire shall be between the holiday maker and the cottage owner and subject to the conditions of the holiday let. The contract of hire is not effective until written confirmation of the booking is dispatched to the holidaymaker.
All rents are quoted per week - we reserve the right to amend prices without notice.
Booking a holiday
Provisional booking may be made by telephone, email or by using the contact form. Once we have contacted you a deposit is required within 7 days. For all bookings a deposit of £50 per week is required and until this deposit is recieved any reservations made is provisional and may be varied or cancelled without notice. Upon payment of the deposit and subject to acceptance of the booking the hirer becomes liable for the balance of the payment. The balance of the rental is required at least 4 weeks prior to the rental date. No reminder is normally issued. We reserve the right to re-let the property if no payment is received within this time frame.
Booking will not be accepted from persons under the age of 18. We reserve the right to refuse booking solely at our discretion.
Pets are permitted. However we ask you to keep pets under strict control. They should be not allowed on the furniture or beds. Holidaymaker's are liable for any damage caused by pets and are asked to remove any evidence of their pets (e.g dog hairs) before departure.
Number of persons
The number of persons is not to exceed 4 unless prior arrangement has been reached. The holidaymaker shall not part with possession of the property or re let it.
The holiday cottage is ideal for children however due to its close vicinity to the sea, children should be kept under close supervision at all times.
No smoking is allowed in the property due to it being timber framed and clad.
The cottage is furnished for 4 people. One double duvet and two single duvets are supplied however duvet covers, sheets and other linen are not provided.
Electricity and heating
There are no additional charges for electricity and heating.
If the cottage is unavailable on the day stated due to circumstances beyond our control all monies paid will be repaid without question. Every endeavour will be made to find a similar property, but no further liability will fall upon ourselves.
If the holidaymaker is not satisfied with the accommodation provided, he or she should contact the cottage owner during their holiday.
In the case of cancellation if we are able to re-let the cottage on your behalf, we will return your rental payment in full (including deposit), less an administration charge of £10. If the chalet is not re-let, then there will be no refund.
We cannot guarantee the security of your vehicle or personal possessions. We cannot be held liable for loss or damage thereto, from any cause whatsoever.
The cottage owner shall be allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay.
Care of property
A condition of acceptance of any booking is that the holidaymaker will take good care of the cottage and its contents. Holidaymaker's will be liable for breakages caused during their occupation and will be expected to leave the cottage clean and tidy including kitchen utensils. Extra cleaning will be charged for.
The holiday cottage will be available from 3.30pm on the day of arrival. You are requested to vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure.
